What started as a conversation over dinner at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) in Columbus, Ohio in 1993, became a partnership for life - fused with the love of Christ and a profound giftedness and passion for percussion. Since 1995, Percussion Duo Selah, Jeannine and Morgan Maddox, have performed recitals, concerts and clinics, throughout Eastern USA and Switzerland including multiple appearances at Pennsylvania Chapter-Percussive Arts Society Day of Percussion.

Before moving with his family to Switzerland Morgan was Adjunct-Faculty or Associate Professor, teaching percussion for:

- Immaculata University
- Valley Forge Military Academy & College
- Lincoln University
His performance experiences range from big band and combo jazz drumming, jazz vibraphone with his own trio and duo, hand-drumming and small percussion with pop groups, to percussion and timpani in orchestras and his personal favourite - chamber music with his wife Jeannine as Percussion Duo Selah .
In America Morgan performed with The Music Group of Philadelphia, Orchestra 2001, Reading Symphony Orchestra, Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra, New Brunswick Symphony Orchestra, South Jersey Symphony, Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, Michael Feinstein, Jaco Pastorious, Dave Brubeck, Voices, Donnie Harper and the New Jersey Mass Choir, Rhapsody, Gene Davis Trio and many others.
His percussion sounds were recorded for Home: Tracey Colletto, Voyages: Kevin Roth, Join Us There and One Purpose One Mind: Shofar Ministries.
He produced two recordings for his wife Jeannine - In the Sea (1996) and Memories, Conversations & More (1998).
Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Masters Music degree in Percussion Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. His teachers include - Dr. Gary Olmstead, William Moersch, Keith Copeland, Robert Benford, Joe Morello, “Philly” Joe Jones, David Friedman and Bill Molenhof.

She performs as a soloist and with orchestra as well as in Percussion Duo Selah.
Her first solo recording, In the Sea (avaiable through Steve Weiss Music) features her own composition "In the Sea", available through C. Alan Publishing. (see sample score on the download page)
Her second recording, Memories, Conversations and More", is a compilation of live performances with Jeannine in various chamber ensemble settings. Two highlights are Memories of the Seashore (two marimba version) and Prism (for two marimbas) both composed by and performed at Tonhalle, Zürich with Keiko Abe. Also on this CD are two works with percussion ensemble, Conversations in the Forest by Keiko Abe and Three Dances by Takayoshi Yoshioka and Divertimento for Alto Saxophone and Marimba by .
Jeannine performed as a solo artist at the Konzervatorium Zürich, with Salonorchester Zürcher Oberland, Delaware County Orchestra, Rose Tree Pops Orchestra, Newark Symphony Orchestra and with the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Percussion Ensemble.
Jeannine was a founding member of Conton Percussion Ensemble of Zürich and she has performed with the Swiss Percussion Ensemble, Opera Orchestra of Zürich, Tonhalle Orchestra Zürich and the Swiss National Youth Wind Ensemble. Jeannine has performed as a soloist in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Washington, DC., and Zürich. Her musical pursuits have taken her additionally to Germany, Scotland, Japan, Luxembourg, Denmark and Australia.
Jeannine received her bachelors and masters degrees from the Konservatorium Zürich. She studied with Horst Hofmann in Zürich and with Keiko Abe in Japan.
